GL Accountant – medical industry

Your responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries such as accruals, prepayments, payroll, and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Perform regular reconciliation of general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
• Facilitate intercompany reconciliations to ensure balanced and transparent reporting across entities
• Manage fixed assets and lease accounting, including depreciation and amortization processes
• Support month-end closing activities, including FX revaluation, revenue recognition, and financial data reporting for consolidation

Our requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of US-GAAP and a good understanding of IFRS standards
• Hands-on experience working with SAP ERP in day-to-day accounting operations
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Fluent English—both written and spoken, suitable for daily communication in a global team
• Residing in Poland required

Join Sii as a GL Accountant and bring your expertise to a global finance team supporting one of the world’s top innovators in life sciences and diagnostics.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of key general ledger processes—from posting journal entries and managing fixed assets to reconciling accounts, preparing VAT declarations, and ensuring smooth month-end closings. Your work will directly impact the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple international entities.
